frequently asked questions
May I have your rates for makeup & hair?
Yes, please send me a message via the contact page to get my current rates.
How do I secure my date?
We operate on a first-come-first-serve basis and only reserve dates with a signed contract and paid deposit. A non-refundable deposit is required for all bookings, which is 40% of the total booking amount.
Deposits are not transferrable to other types of services (such as photo shoots, special event makeup, etc.) and are for the use of the bride only on the actual wedding day. Rates for services are subject to change with transfers if dates are beyond a year from the original booking date.
What are your payment methods and terms?
We accept CASH and E-Transfers (Email / Phone Transfers). Payment details will be sent via email and will be in your contract.
Do you accept pencil bookings?
We can pencil book your event for a maximum of 1 week after our bridal trial makeup session (for brides only).
Can I bring my own false eyelashes?
Yes. All of our packages include a set of false eyelashes but if you already have something you like or prefer, we can definitely use that too! For the application of the client's own false lashes, the service price remains the same.
How long does a makeup appointment take?
It takes approximately 1-1.5 hours to get your hair and makeup done, but I prefer to start at least 2 hours before you need to leave your place for ample time allowance.
What brands do you use?
I use a variety of photo-ready, high-definition, and long-wearing products from luxury and professional brands such as Becca, Chanel, Cinema Secrets, Charlotte Tilbury, Dior, Estee Lauder, Fenty Beauty, K-Palette, Loreal, Laura Mercier, MAC, MakeUp Forever, Nars, RCMA, Stila, Too Faced and many more.
For Airbrush makeup, I use Temptu products.
If you are allergic to specific brands or products, please let me know before our makeup appointment.

I want to wear contact lenses but it'll be my first time trying it. Will you be able to put it on for me?
Yes, I can put them on for you.We can also provide non-graded contact lenses upon request. This will come with an additional cost.
Although, I advise that you try the contact lenses a few days before your event so you will be comfortable wearing them.
What is the difference between traditional and airbrush makeup?
They register the same in photos, but they perform differently on certain skin types. Airbrush makeup is more resilient if you tend to sweat profusely or have oily skin, while traditional makeup is recommended for dry or dehydrated skin. We can assess which one is more suited for your skin type during our trial makeup session.
Can I reschedule my appointment for another date?
Yes. As long as the date is still available and you have notified us at least 30 days before your appointment date.
Is a bridal trial really needed?
A trial makeup session is recommended, but it is optional and is a separate booking. The purpose of your trial is primarily to see how the products look and react to your skin and/or hair. Many brides choose to use their trials for their engagement photos, bridal showers, dress fittings, or other events so they can be glammed up for those days too! So any time before your big day is ok!
During our trial makeup session, we will try out different prep, ceremony & reception looks (if included in the booking) until we find the most ideal ones for your big day. We will also discuss the necessary skin care, facial treatments, hair treatments, etc. that you will need in preparation for your wedding day. A typical bridal trial appointment usually takes around 2 hours.
Do you charge travel fees?
Yes. Travel costs are to be determined and calculated from M1S 2J7 in Scarborough. Parking fees/toll fees are to be paid by the client, if applicable.
