hello, i'm nicole!
I have been a freelance makeup artist since 2015 back in my home country, the Philippines. I recently moved to Canada last July 2022 and have thought of giving up my makeup career but here I am, starting from scratch and trying again. I love all things beauty and makeup is really my passion and I can't see myself doing anything else.
A little more about me...
I was born and raised in Metro Manila and took a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Advertising Arts from Far Eastern University. In the beginning, I wanted to go into the fashion industry which I did for a little while then I ended up in marketing for a Japanese makeup brand for 3 years. Ever since I graduated, I've been hustling on the side for my professional makeup career. After 4 years in the corporate world, I decided to call it quits as I realized makeup artistry is really where my heart is.
My makeup training
In 2015, I enrolled in SoFA Design Institute's "Certificate in Fashion Styling". This is where I received my formal makeup training and had a chance to be a MAC Cosmetics Guest Makeup Artist for 3 years. I've done fashion shows, events, and theatre plays for the brand.
My makeup style and mission
I've always viewed makeup as a way of empowering the wearer of it. I'm a fan of soft and natural-looking makeup. I believe this can accentuate the natural beauty without making you look unrecognizable. I love creating looks that are natural and romantic.
My mission is to always achieve a timeless look that you'll love to look back on.
