Booking

To secure a date, a signed contract and 40% deposit are required. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. This deposit will be put toward the client’s total event day balance. The remaining balance will be due on or before the day of the event. Accepted forms of payment include cash or E-transfer. Gratuity is never expected but always appreciated.

Social Media and Website

Photos taken by me or the photographer at the event, trial, or wedding of you and your bridal party may be used as examples of my work for future clients to view. By signing the contract, you agree to me using these photos and giving consent to using your event photos on my website/portfolio/social media. I will email you to request these photos and will credit the photographer and other suppliers for their work.

Service location and requirements 

The location of makeup services for the day-of-event will be at the Bride’s discretion, but there are certain requirements the artist will need to complete the services. A set-up table/work area/trash can/outlet will need to be made available for the Makeup Artist. Ample lighting, whether by means of natural light or by lamps, is necessary for services to be performed properly. The artist will arrive 15- 30 minutes prior to set-up. Please communicate the hotel room number if applicable by email or text.

Delays

A late fee of $25.00 will be charged for every 30 minutes of delay when a client is late for the scheduled time, or if the scheduled makeup application exceeds the allotted time due to client delays.

Satisfaction Guaranteed

Makeup will be completed to the client’s satisfaction, and acceptance of the completed makeup application is an acknowledgment by the client that the makeup is done to the client’s satisfaction.

Parking Fees

Where parking or toll fees may be incurred, the amount will be included in the final bill and will be due on the day of the event.

Travel Costs

Travel will be charged at the two-way cost of a Taxi/Uber to the location where the client/bridal party will get ready.

Liability

All brushes, tools, and makeup products are sanitized between every makeup application. Any allergies and/or skin conditions should be reported by the client to the makeup artist prior to application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. By signing the contract, Client(s) agree to release the makeup artist (Denisse Nicole Soliven) from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.

Payment

The final balance is due on or before the day of the event before the makeup artist begins any makeup application — no exceptions. The person(s) responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person(s) whose name(s) appear on the contract.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be made at least fourteen (14) days prior to the client’s reserved date or the client will be responsible for paying the full amount of services agreed upon in this contract.
